Manali Marathon 2.0 Event Timeline

 

Day 1: September 28, 2024 – Bib Distribution & Pre-Event Expo at the Wildlife Information and Interpretation Centre near the Mall Road Manali.

• 11:30 AM – 5:00 PM: Bib Collection at Mall Road, Manali.

  • Runners collect their bibs and kits for all race categories.

• 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Pre-race briefing for ultra participants.​

Day 2: September 29, 2024 – Marathon Day

• 12:00 AM: 100KM Rohtang Pass Ultra Marathon flag-off.

  • Runners begin the challenge from Mall Road, with support crew.

• 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM: Warm-up session for runners.

• 6:20 AM: Full Marathon (42.2 KM) flag-off from Mall Road.

  • Route takes runners through scenic mountain terrain with varying elevations.

• 6:30 AM: Half Marathon (21.1 KM) start.

• 6:40 AM: 10K Run start.

• 6:50 AM: 5K Run start.

• 7:00 AM: 1K Fun Run start.

Post-Race Activities

• 8:00 – 5:00 PM: Runners finish the race.

  • Medal distribution for all finishers at Mall Road.

  • Refreshment stations and cool-down areas available for participants.

• 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Award ceremony and closing remarks.

  • PD for winners in all race categories.

  • Speeches by special guests, sponsors, and government officials.
